As the driving pulse behind one of Australia’s best- known rock acts, ‘The Screaming Jets’, Mickl Sayers is a drummer of both power and precision.

With a playing style that sits somewhere in between Morgan Rose (Sevendust) and John Blackwell Jnr (Prince), Mickl fuses both technique and groove, to create a solid platform, allowing ‘The Jet’ to deliver their signature ‘Oz Rock’ sound.

The band has been busy recording their latest album. It is scheduled for release late in 2006 and Mickl tells us that his Sleishman kit sounds amazing!
