West African Bubinga is a hard, dense timber with a strong, vibrant note. We’re all in on bubinga ply shells, as they open up beautifully in our patented Sleishman suspension system – delivering a powerful, pure and rich tone that suits any musical situation.
Unrivaled is quite the word to use. Given the tune-ability gained via our Sleishman system, combined with our unique undersized shell spec, these shells tune from virtually zero tension on the drum, to way up high with ease.

A 22×16 Bass Drum That Delivers
The bottom end, defined punch and solid note, makes this sized kick so much fun to play. The extra density/weight of Bubinga, really drives the drums powerful low end tone. It’s a killer kick.
Dig in to the rich, percussive tones of the Bubinga 6 ply + 4 ply Maple re ringed, Sleishman Edge 10, 12 and 14″toms. So much tone, light to the touch response/resonance, along with a controlled decay, makes these drums just so musical and basically addictive. Again, the tuning range is huge.
The 14×6.5 snare is a full bodied masterpiece. 12ply, 10mm in thickness – it’s free floating voice can tune right up to the sound of a gun shot. It gets in and out nicely note wise and has a dry, articulate snare response. The 6.5 depth adds full bodied tone to every note.
