The 14×5.5 snare has a full bodied ‘voice’. Warm, full tones at medium to low tension, then up to dry, high end chop when you need to really cut. The 12 ply, 10mm USA maple ‘speaks’ truly again, thanks to our patented tuning system.
The 14×5.5 size has plenty of body and dry ‘cut’ to it’s note and has a very wide tuning range. 14×5.5 may just be the most versatile snare size
Combining with our phosphor bronze wires, and deep snare bed, the sensitivity across the drum is way more than you’d expect… well, it is in our Sleishman tuning system after all… and you just get more of everything really.
