This brilliant 14×5.5 13mm, 30 stave Sheoak shell by our new ‘colab’ stave shell partner, Shaun at Conundrum (Perth, AU) is a beautifully unique piece of craftsmanship, that we feel marries perfectly with our very own Aussie developed Sleishman system.
The tone of Australian Sheoak hardwood is warm, rich and woody in the low to mid range and definitely nice and cutting (especially as a 13mm stave) when up high… this is an all round winner of a snare that’s brought even further to life sitting in our patented tuning system. With nothing whatsoever touching the shell, except for the drum heads alone… the complete character of the Rivergum is full and present in every note.
